about me

positionality

I am a white, cisgender, able-bodied, Queer woman with various privileges that allow me to navigate society in a way that many folks are not afforded. I am committed to using my privilege to lift up marginalized communities and continue to decolonize my own world view.

education/work experience

I started this work with a love for food, receiving my Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from the University of Saskatchewan in 2020. I proceeded to work as a Registered Dietitian (RD) in private practice and community non-profit focusing in the field of eating disorders. My experience working within an interdisciplinary team led me to pursue my Master’s of Social Work at the University of Calgary, which I received in 2026.

My continued education and additional training has focused on eating disorders, anti-racism, the impacts of trauma, and the role of the nervous system in healing.
